The foundation was laid by Mr. Ajay Kumar Jena, who ventured into the industry in 1995 with a startup focused on pigments used for coloring plastic materials. His expertise and entrepreneurial spirit led to the official formation of Kalinga Poly Compound Private Limited in 2004.From the very beginning, the company specialised in manufacturing master batches —colour pigments and molecules essential for colouring plastic materials. Not only did Mr. Jena innovate in the field of colorants, but he also recognized the importance of sustainability early on. Since 2002, even before the formal establishment of Kalinga Poly Compound, he had been actively involved in recycling used plastic products into plastic granules. These granules are crucial for manufacturing new plastic materials, emphasizing the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.Today, Kalinga Poly Compound stands as a testament to over two decades of experience and dedication in the plastic industry, constantly evolving and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with innovations in the World of Plastic.

In 2020, we launched Utkal Ganga Houseware, another sister brand focused on manufacturing plastic household products.
